My classroom schedule at Endeavor is:

Focus at this grade level is the making and keeping of friends. Students will also learn conflict resolution basics using "Simon's Hook".
10:45 First Grade with Mrs. Steinhaus
First graders focus on feelings; they learn to recognize different feelings (using the correct vocabulary) plus how to cope with difficult feelings.
12:15 Second Grade with Mrs. Routson
Second graders will learn how to identify bullying behavior and what a bystander can do to help stop bullying. Another focus in second grade is building self-esteem and identifying strengths and recognizing and understanding differences.
1:00 Fourth Grade with Mr. Hammer
Focus is on understanding what constitutes bullying and how to handle this behavior plus reviewing the bystander's role. Fourth grade will also learn strategies to manage their emotions through the "How does your engine run?" program.
1:30 Fifth Grade with Mr. Hammer
Fifth grade learns about cyber safety as well as cyber bullying. We also learn about the value of a positive reputation and will do some introductory career exploration.
